16.00 – 18.30 (Western Indonesian Time) | 17.00 – 19.30 (Central Indonesian Time)
To introduce a research project on a wider scale, we would like to invite you to our inaugural meeting. This event will launch our project “Fostering Resilient Recovery in Displaced Communities via School-based Hubs”, which is led by an interdisciplinary team of academics from the UK and Indonesia. There will be opportunities to have interactive discussion via Zoom.inc with UCL’s Principal Investigator, Prof. Helene Joffe, and Indonesian Co-PI, Dr. Ella Meilianda, from TDMRC USK.
This project aims to promote community resilience to disasters triggered by natural hazards through innovative interventions that target psycho-social disaster support, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and the safety of the physical environment, through school-based hubs in Palu, Indonesia.
This Resilient School Hubs Inaugural Meeting is brought to you by University College London (UCL), in partnership with Syiah Kuala University’s Tsunami and Disaster Mitigation Research Centre (TDMRC), and Tadulako University, sponsored by the UK Research and Innovation’s (UKRI) Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) for Equitable Resilience. The specific funder of this project is the Economic and Social Research council (ESRC).
The talk will also be posted on YouTube here
